The act ran for eighteen minutes on the full stage. Dr. MacDonald’s electrical act is a very poor copy of Dr. Herman’s. The young woman sitting in the “electric chair” seemed to wince slightly, as if she had actually been accidentally shocked by Dr. MacDonald. He closed the show.
Most of the audience walked out on MacDonald after a few minutes.
Dr. MacDonald possesses no stage presence and has no comedic ideas. The act is very "small time" and will only devalue similar acts by experienced showmen.
