In “Some Mind Reader.” This is a comedy sketch built around the idea of the feminine mind reader and her manager. The act is an excellent laughing number all the way through. Dolan impersonates an investigator, supposedly a member of the audience, who gets into the story for the purpose of seeing whether or not the mind reading is the real article. There are a lot of comedy lines and laughs galore. A peculiar feature of the act is that the audience thoroughly enjoys it and yet does not really know whether it is a “kid” or a real exhibition of second sight. Went big all the way through and finished strong. 25 minutes, palace in 3.
