16 min, full stage. A sketch of the Robert Hilliard style, with Mr. Miller in a Raffles character, and his “company” as an Italian burglar. Mr. Miller is a local favorite, having been connected with the Bowdoin Sq. Theatre stock company for several years. He was put in principally to keep him away from the opposition. His act, The Cat’s-paw, has quite a bit of merit, and I think that it will work up into a very good and entertaining 15 min. sketch. The dialogue is bright, the action interesting and the climax a surprise that is an applause winner. Mr. Miller has a very attractive stage presence, and is a good actor of juvenile and light comedy roles particularly. I think that this sketch would make good on the Circuit at about $150.
