Cesare Nesi is billed as the “East Side Caruso” and sings in “a rich, dulcet tenor tone, high in range.” He wears an Italian street peddler’s costume for a few numbers.

"That Colonial audience was simply bugs over his songs Monday night." He returned to the stage for several bows.
His voice is one of the best heard in vaudeville for a long time. He will improve with age and confidence, but his performance is still a hit with the vaudeville crowd.
