17 min. This famous grand opera singer, formerly prima donna of the Philadelphia-Chicago Grand Opera Company, scored a veritable vocal triumph. She is very well known and exceedingly popular in this city and a crowded house accorded her the warmest kind of a reception. She sang four numbers including selections from opera, a popular number and finished with ‘Annie Laurier.’ During her rendition of the latter she held the audience at the strictest attention and at the finish there was an outburst of applause which lasted for several minutes. It can be said that Miss White scored and the biggest kind of a hit here.
