Singing and music.
"Beaux and Belles" combine singing with music. Old-fashioned garb and a transparent drop, somewhat worn, are used. The solo of the prima donna was well song. The mixed quartet selections did not get the results desired, while a male tenor soloed "Mother Macree" fairly well. One of the men played a bass viol and the number was well received. Act as it stands will get most attention in the smaller houses.
