Mr. Aldridge renders two semi-classical solos in a tenor voice with a piano accompanist.
It is immediately clear that Mr. Aldridge is more suited for concerts than the vaudeville stage. He has a strong and beautiful voice and uses it with great expression. Unfortunately his repertoire and delivery will not carry him far. Had the songs been more Americanized he would have gained more appeal. The accompanist should also dress in evening clothes instead of a dinner coat.
