Mme Adelaide Norwood, the American grand opera prima donna, made for an artistic headliner.
She made the mistake of singing two classical numbers at the opening of her act. It was not until she sang "Come Back to Erin" that the audience began to truly enjoy her.
She has a splendid voice, robust and sweet.
