The big pleased those present, particularly when the low comedy reached its summit.
The Rex production is typical of the many others that show little ambition to originate, seeming content to plod along in the beaten groove, although Rex has at least surrounded himself with sufficient of the desired atmosphere to bring him to the attention of the big-time bookers. For and opener it satisfied.
