She puts over four numbers in a “s’ambang” style. In the ten minutes on stage she also makes four complete changes. She opens with a coon number, “Stop-Stop,” and follows with her Italian characterization, in “That Sweet Italian Waltz.” Her third number is an imitation of Anna Held in her “Teddy Bear” song. She did not need to announce the number as an imitation for it was so good that the audience caught on immediately. She ended with “Schlitz,” dressed in a Dutch costume and sabots.
She could soon make her mark on the “big time” if she is handled properly. At the present she should be able to get all the small time routines that she wants.
