George Lashwood

He has several new songs but continues to plug "Twilight."
Lashwood performed for 49 minutes, 19 minutes too long. However, the audience wanted him to remain on stage as long as possible. The house was top heavy as the capacity upstairs to see Lashwood was over capacity.
The Englishman was a solid hit, as popular as Harry Lauder was in this theatre. Despite his popularity, Mr. Lashwood should discard two songs for the Morris Circuit: "Patrick J. O'Hare" is done better by Clark and Hamilton who have added a dance; and "Fol de rol" for the melody is older than vaudeville itself. His best songs include the sailor number, set to the air of Chevalier's "Old Dutch," and "Cabbie," which is a triffle sad but well liked.
