The condensed playlet version of "The County Fair" includes the horse race scene in which "Cold Molasses" wins first place, thereby allowing Aunt Abbey (Neil Burgess' character) to pay off the mortgage. The three scene act employs a large cast.
Burgess' spinster impersonation is of exceptional ability.
