Gus Edwards, the music publisher and
composer, burst upon the Hammerstein
audience Monday afternoon as the big
noise of a first rate show. "My Old
Lady" started the turn off nicely, followed
by "My Cousin Caruso." For the final
chorus of the latter Mr. Edwards did an
imitation of a 'cello, taking the instrument
from the orchestra's cellist. The finale
was "Up in My Aeroplane." [sic]
