The act was eighteen minutes long. Maxfield is a small woman who dresses well and does some mimicry while singing. She has a way of telling her jokes without giving offence, which is no easy task.
"Maxfield hasn't the best voice in the world but understands putting a number over with certain mannerisms that will make her a popular entertainer." If Maxfield continues her act with Mott, she's "going to land in faster company."
