The act was fifteen minutes long.
Hirsch is a cartoonist who works with colored pencils and has an African American assistant who he draws. He and his assistant attempt some comedy “comments” during the act.
"The little negro chap strives for comedy points that barring one, fell flat at the Fifth Avenue."
Hirsch shows talent, but needs a stronger finish. His assistant also needs more original material if he is going to get a laugh out of the audience.
