(17 mins.) She took Vivienne Segal’s place on short notice and more than made good. Being a Philadelphia girl she is a strong favorite here but got over on her merits. She was in splendid voice and had a good selection of songs. Closed the show at the matinee but took her regular position in this spot at night and was a big hit.
