English Contralto. A woman with a splendid voice who went very well. It is a pleasure to listen to good enunciation after some of the singers we have. Her singing of “The Lost Chord” was especially good. 10 minutes in one. Of course, it is a question as to the salary, but from the way this audience took her act I think she is worth it.
