The Clinton Sisters have something elaborate in the way of settings for their series of dances, but unfortunately the two girls have little else. They do four dances, of a "classical" kind in a way, starting with a Chinese number, solo dance, double Egyptian, and a "Fishing" dance to close, each appropriately costumed, and with a different backdrop revealed for each. The scenery expense must have mounted to a tidy sum, also the costuming, but the sisters cannot dance in the big time pace. Granted the opening position at the 5th Ave., likely because of the "production effect," the girls could barely hold it. Unless they can put over dances of more originality and more merit in stepping, they can not hope for anything with this turn beyond small time.
