Duffy and Lorenze are a new combination. While Duffy has played in vaudeville before, Miss Lorenze is unknown.
Miss Lorenze sang a song while seated upon a settee, with Duffy beside her. Duffy then proceeded to sing "Coupons," with nicely written lyrics. The act did not carry the encore Sunday night.
A sweeter appearing young woman upon the stage has seldom shown. The girl has magnetism to give away and she can sing a song. She should have had the song as a solo. Duffy is a likable young fellow, with personality of his own. Also why "Duffy and Lorenze?" The title should carry the Christian names, or "Mr. and Miss." But names or no names, Duffy and Lorenz can step right into the best houses, although when they arrive there, Mr. Duffy should not smear up his coat with powder from Miss Lorenze's arms, merely for the one laugh that is gotten from it.
