The production is the creation of the Princess Theatrical Exchange, of Louisville, Ky., and was built expressly for an early tour of the Sullivan and Considine circuit.
The closing set, in "four," shows an aviation field after dark, the lighted houses of a village in the background. There is an aviation song used as well as a stage model of an aeroplane, with a searchlight in front, suspended in mid air, with one of the girls in the aviator's seat. She manipulates the steering gear in such a way to cause the improvised machine to swing continuously in a semi circle.
The pretty and shapely girls possess fairly good singing voices. The plane effect, while not entirely original, is novel and spectacular. The costumes are on par with the settings, except for the last scene in which the beach gowns, caps, and parasols seem out of place. The songs are well rendered and go over well, but a substitution of two or three with more catchy and tuneful numbers would help.
