Miss Hite opens the act with a dandy little comedy number, "You Are Going to Lose Your Husband If You Do." Her second character song is a one-night actress, who hates talking about herself. The number features imitations, burlesque and otherwise, of Eddie Foy, Jim Morton and others. While the song takes up much time, it secures much comedy. Her third number is an Italian comedy piece. It would probably be better suited to a male comedian. She closes with a portrayal of a sailor's wife. Her pantaloon costume is very funny. Tom Kelly assists Miss Hite throughout the act. Between her numbers Kelly, while at the piano, sings some songs made poplar by Miss Hite, during which slides are shown. A few pictures of Mike Donlin are shown and one of Rube Marquard.
The first song mentioned Mike Donlin. The former Giant had many friends in the audience who caused a racket at the sound of his name. Miss Hite was a decided hit at the Alhambra.
