Brockman sang four of his own songs, each with its own special back-ground. Two are in "one," while the other two are in "two." The first song is about a boob grocery store and has a comedy lyric. This is followed with an old man pathetic number. The old time actor then does an "Apache" in which he uses a dummy for a partner.
The best number is the "Apache." Brockman has a splendid voice but lacked the comedy ability to get the three funny songs over. The old man number is almost worthless; it lacks a good melody and has a rather worn lyric. He may be able to shift the present act into playing shape if he gave more attention to the comedy bits.
