Miss Imes appeared in a natty brown outfit. She made a quick change from brown to pink; both gowns were very becoming and in line with her general appearance.
She opened with "In Dixie Land," and followed with "Thank You, Kind Sir" (from "Jumping Jupiter"), "I'll Be Back Again," and another of the same kind for her finale.
She should drop her last number and introduce another character number, instead using "In Dixie Land" for her finish. Imes' dialect and delivery of this number stamp her as an excellent character singer. She should make capital with her ability. Second position is a handicap to any single; there is no doubt she would have made a better impression in a different spot.
