Melrose is costumed in Scotch kilts.
Melrose was formerly the acrobatic comedian of Kennedy and Melrose. He has tackled a big job in attempting a single turn.
He sat on a chair, placed upon a table at least twelve feet from the ground (a pyramid of tables created the height). Melrose sways back and forth until toppling over with the entire arrangement.
Melrose brought much laughter, some screams, some shrieks and plenty of applause.
The finishing trick was really too good for the opening position with its early and late performance. At any other house he can take the position at any end of the bill.
