The act is the dog. He answers to his master's call without the slightest coaxing or urging.
Winton gets quite a bit of comedy from the animal, which is good, but the attempted comedy from the talk is not. It should be dropped along with the current dressing. The uniform is superfluous. IF he requires a comedic type of dressing, it should be some sort of clown arrangement. The fool dance by the man, which the dog imitates, is one of several good bits.
