Melnotte & Leedom

(19 mins.) Comedy singing turn by two girls. Good songs and snappy talk, all of which they handle very well, and got plenty of laughs. Finish with a dance and close to a big hand.

Roode & France

(7 mins.) This is a very wire-walking act by a man and woman. Good routine and makes a very good opening number.

Geo. B. Alexander’s “Frivolty Girls”

This act consists of three men and eight women. As far as business is concerned it was good today, but I’m warry about the balance of the week — I have I’M mistaken — the show is very poor indeed — no life to it. The girls are sort of fillings. No singers. or dancers. People are knocking the show hard.

Roland Travers

(8 mins.) A very showy illusion act. Good tricks, well done and the act made a big flash in the closing position holding the audience interested and closing to a big hand.

Brendel & Bert

(14 mins.) Act just about the same as it has been for a year or so but as usual it was a big laughing hit here, holding this spot down in fine shape.

Anatoll Friedland in “Musicland”

(24 mins.) A big, classy song revue that was a big applause hit. There are eleven girls in the act and they wear a lavish display of costumes. The music and singing are pleasing and the whole production makes a great flash.

Nan Gray

(13 mins.) A singer of Sketch songs. Made a very favorable showing here, getting applause with each of her numbers and finishing to a good hand. Has a good voice and makes an attractive appearance, dressing in Scotch costumes.

Stone & Hayes

(14 mins.) A singing and talking turn by a man and woman, the former playing the part of rube. He has a lot of good comedy talk, got a lot of laughs and finished to a good hand, with a good musical number.

The Magleys

(16 mins.) A prettily staged dancing act but slow until the finishing number, a whirlwind dance, very well done which brought them a big hand. Closed strong.

Jackie & Billy

(13 mins.) A very good novelty, the best of the talking bird acts we have had here and it was very well liked.
