Lowe-Lewin Martel

After the “William Tell” overture a white sheet is lowered and while the two men are playying a medley of national airs, colored slides are thrown upon the drop. It was hard to see the aptness of it. One in particular showed a battle scene in the Civil War while the accompaniment was a Scotch Highland piece.

Musette

The act was fourteen minutes long. Musette is a violinist who is “a combination of Yvette and Trovato.” She opens with a classical section which runs too long, which she follows up with several rag numbers.

Yvette

Yvette is a young violinist.

Dunlop and Folk

Two girls play the violin and the harp. Both are attractive in Neapolitan costumes which they later exchange for evening dresses.

Trovato

Trovato performed songs on the violin for twenty five minutes next to closing.

Kubelik

Kubelik is a violinist and was the headliner for the show. He plays the violin in a “novel manner”. Two violins are placed on stands and Kubelik plays both while seated. He also plays the keyboard. He plays catchy numbers on all three instruments during his routine.

The Elliots

Harpists (one man and one woman) who play opera, ragtime, and everything in between. They also “sing a bit”. The act was fifteen minutes long.

Armada

A young woman plays both classical and popular numbers on the violin. The act was ten minutes long.
