Belle Blanche

13 minutes in one and two. O.P. Drapery and Palace Drop. The best act Miss Blanche has ever given us. The impersonation of the actors at the base ball game was the best liked. A hit.

Cecelia Loftus

Open full stage. Interior, closing full stage. Special. 25 minutes. During our time in vaudeville we have many acts that have been overpaid and which did not make good, but without any doubt Miss Cecelia Loftus has been the biggest failure we have every played. Her imitations were very unlike the originals. If she had been anyone else but Cecelia Loftus I am sure we would have closed her. I really cannot account for her bad performances with us. She seemed to be trying and apparently in the best of health.

Felix & Caire

Their old act, which is practically the same as they have been doing for a number of years, containing one or two new imitations. In the old days when they were looked upon as children, and Felix was particularly small, the act had value; now that they have grown to young men and young woman, their work is not so effective; besides which, Felix has a particularly offensive personality. The first part of the act dragged and they closed only fairly well. 15. Open F.S. Close about 3 min in one.

Reta Redfield

12 min in one—This dainty juvenile character artist held this spot in great shape, and many friends with earnest and artistic work—Splendid value.

Juliet

26 min in one. People did not seem to realize at first whether Juliet was a man impersonating woman’s parts or vice versa, but it was soon plain that this little article showed extraordinary versatility and before she finished got the crowd very strong. An act that could hold a strong spot on any bill and a genuine applause hit. Seven changes of costume.

Leon Rogee

10 min. in one. This man’s imitations of cello, trombone, piccolo, etc., were quite remarkable. Received good applause. Puts a little comedy in his act which helps it to popularity. His whistling solo at the close got a good hand.

Great Bernardi

Protean act, in three parts, first part played in Italian, second, impersonations of well known composers, third a comedietta. Bernardi’s work is the best of any act we have ever had of its nature and made a decidedly big hit from start to finish. 26 min. full stage.

Henry E. Dixey

“Mono-Dress and Vaude-Alogue.” 18 minutes C.D.F. Mr. Dixey has a high class offering in which he depicts an entire vaudeville show. He works alone in dress clothes and has in the offering a vehicle which permits him the display of his talent. His impersonations of Irving were unusually well received. The act is different, high class and will find ready appreciation from the better class of theatre-goers. The impression that Mr. Dixey can work in one made a revision in the running order of our acts necessary. He must use the ordinary full stage. (Loiusville)

Francis Yates

An act of the Eltinge order, presenting the Society Belle, the Ingenue, the Kiddie and the Surprise. Made a favorable impression, winning applause after each number. The act is very adequately staged. Fairly good finish. Two specials in 1, special in 3-15 minutes. (Cleveland)

Venita Gould

(20 mins.) She was really the applause hit of the show and everyone in her imitations was well received. Makes a very big flash..It is also the best act Miss Gould has ever done here.
