Sid Barrington and his partner, Belle Barrington, waded through fifteen minutes of excrutiating dialogue at the opening of the show, and then,when they had to stop talking because they had used up all the decrepit minstrel “gags,” a music cue disclosed the amazing fact that he had a voice of really excellent quality.
