The preliminary work of Baraban and Grohs, in Chinese dancing before a transparent drop, did not register, as they next offered with change of costumes, an American dance, and then back to the old Indian days, without explanation, which should be important. The people might better appreciate their efforts if combined with a little descriptive matter.
