Well, Virginia & West

15 min in 1 and 2. Changed to this spot for the night show, this act went over big. This boy’s eccentric and Russian dancing is really wonderful.

Beaumont Sisters

15 min in 3. Held interest and their closing number put them over to a good hand.

Gus Voyer in “Marry Me”

22 min in full stage spec. One of the best acts of its kind that we have played. Clean wholesome comedy and went over very good.

Loyals Dogs

9 min in full stage. Well known dog act made a good opener.

Harry Lavail & Sister

Splendid act of trapeze and ring with a little casting added. Held the spot very well indeed. 6 minutes full stage.

Riggs & Witchie

Corcking good comedy act of the bowery type. 17 minutes in one.

Harry Beresford & Company

In a sketch entitled “’Twas The Night Before Christmas”, a rather slow vehicle not particularly well played although Mr. Beresford impresses his ability by his performance. But the young woman who plays the part of the child is entirely too old and the act therefore lacks conviction. Did not go very well with the audience. 18 minutes full stage.

Rae Eleanor Ball & Brother

There is no question as to Miss Ball’s ability as a violinist or her brother’s as a ‘cellist but we have had the act so often that while they got considerable applause it was easily seen that the audiences have grown somewhat tired of seeing them season after season. While I appreciate the act personally, to its fullest extent, I am sure we would be better off by giving them a good long rest. 16 minutes in one.

Pearson, Newport & Pearson

Eccentric dancing with a little acrobatic and piano playing thrown in. This act got considerable applause and is thoroughly allright for this spot. 12 minutes in one.

Gillen & Mulcahy

One man at the piano and the other at the baritone vocalist who gets songs over in good style. Good number two act. 19 act.
