Four Readings

(9 mins.) Although we have played this act frequently it has never failed to score and it made an excellent act in the closing position on this bill.

Daphne Pollard

(15 mins.) Just as big a laughing hit as when she first played here last summer. Doing the same routine of songs and getting big laughs and applause with each one. Closed very strong.

Signor Friscoe

(19 mins.) Did very big with his Xylophone selections and worked up some comedy with the help of a couple of plants in this audience calling out for a variety of numbers. Closed big.

Elsa Ryan in “Preg for Short”

(22 mins.) This has proven one of the best comedy sketches we have played and has held up each time shown here. Miss Ryan has a new man for her support and the sketch moved along to a good sized comedy hit, getting lots of laughs and closing to a good hand.
