Wilfred Clark & Co.

14 min, in 3 ½ Spec. His customary style of fast moving sketch. Got some good laughs and closed to a fair hand.

Merkell & Gay

8 min, in “One.” Good dancing particularly the acrobatic work of the man, Closed to a good hand.

Kay Hamlin & Kay

7 min, F.S. Excellent trampoline and bar act. Made a fine opener.

The Andrieff Trio

(9 mins.) A very good dancing novelty by two men and a girl. Their style is different from other Russian dancing acts and they were well received.

Van & Schenck

(21 mins.) All that was expected to them, a tremendous hit starting when they first stepped on the stage and lasting clean up to the finish of their last song, which they did with Schenck playing the piano in the pit.

Yvette Rugel

(17 mins.) She took Vivienne Segal’s place on short notice and more than made good. Being a Philadelphia girl she is a strong favorite here but got over on her merits. She was in splendid voice and had a good selection of songs. Closed the show at the matinee but took her regular position in this spot at night and was a big hit.

Royal Gascoignes

(20 mins.) Proved a very good act for this spot. He has filled it out a little by the use of some jokes, which he got a lot of laughs on and his juggling brought his plenty of applause. Finished very strong.

Mae & Rose Wilton

(19 mins.) Their usual big hit. They are singing most of the songs they used here before but made each one of they score and they finished very strong.

Walsh and Edwards

A neat singing and dancing turn by a boy and girl. Both do solo dances that brought them good hands and they closed strong. (14 mins.)

Gutier’s Bricklayers

(9 mins.) A very good dog novelty. Animals are well trained and the act did very well in the opening spot.
