In a unique fishing sketch which seemed to please thoroughly. 17 min. in three.
Card manipulator. A very good entertainer whose various tricks pleased and he got considerable laughter with his talk. 18 min. in one.
Poser. I don’t believe there is much value in this act, although the house was well seated, having held off the starting of the show for a few moments for her benefit, there was scant applause and there didn’t seem to be much interest. 7 min. full stage.
In “Bringing Home the Bacon.” Two woman and a man; a comedy playlet dealing with an avaricious husband who appropriates his wife’s money. 15 min. Palace; went only fair. A Sketch has got to be above par to go good here — they have no drawing power whatever
Gymnastic Creations. Hand balancing and ring work. 7 min. c.d.f.; went good.
International Entertainers. They open their act by showing pictures on the screen of places where they have traveled in foreign countries. Their act consists of dancing and singing. Sing songs of different countries. 12 min. in one; went good.
(6 mins.) Comedy and juggling of hats furnished a very good closing number for this bill. Got plenty of laughs and closed to a good hand.
(10 mins.) Repeated very well for us. Following Arlington’s act was not a particularly easy position but he did very well with his “nut” style of comedy and dancing. Closed to a good hand.
(22 mins.) The applause hit of the show. His stuff still remains all hokum but it fitted into this bill and kept the audience laughing from start to finish. Took several bows and had to make a little speech.
