Scanlon, Denno Bros. & Scanlon

(12 mins.) This is one of the best dancing novelties we have played. The act is composed of three men and a girl who first appears in boy’s clothing. They open as a straight singing quartette and then go into some very good dance with a rapid finish.

Nonette

(19 mins.) A great hit. Her first appearance here in sometime and she was accorded a very warm welcome. Scored solidly with all her songs and violin numbers. Forced to enchore and finished to a very big hand.

William Ebs

(13 mins.) This is a novelty that repeated in great shape for us being one of the applause hits of the bill. All of his work was well received and he finished big.

Ten Eyck & Weily

(13 mins.) A very pretty dance number with plenty of variety, color and attractive dressing. All their numbers are well executed and the act got over in excellent shape.

Tommy Gordon

(14 mins.) This boy did very well. He is a sort of “nut” comedy monologist. Has a good routine of stuff and closed to a big hand.

Married by Wireless

Booked as “The Most Elaborate Mechanical Scenic Production in Vaudeville” – Three men and two women; singing, dancing and talking – Musical Comedy on a small scale. The scenic display is surely great and won great applause. The act went over good. 20 min. full.

Cello

“The Musical Fool” – Plays one (instead of several as stated) number on the cello and does pantomime comedy and dancing, also, does some fiddle breaking. 10 min. in palace; went very weak.

Arthur Terry

The Talking Cowboy. Does stunts with his rope, such as tieing knots,, etc., talking all the time doing the same. 7 min. in one; went poor.

Eleanore Peirce & Company

Dancing act for which I care very little for and the audience seemed to care for it less. 12 min. full stage.

Gordon & Ford

Man and woman in a great laughing act / The man is as funny a Jew comedian as I know, the woman has a pleasant voice, dresses well and they have good material, and the whole act got over in great style. 15 min. in one.
