The Dixie Duo

Lieut. Noble Sissle and “Eubie” Blake in Original Songs and Pianologues” — Piano and Singing — Songs of “Over There”, etc.  Blake at the piano. This act went over big. 13 min in one.

Will Holmes & Iva Holliston

Present a Capsule Comedy entitled “Not To Be Taken Seriously” — Holmes takes the character of a rube — Miss Holliston as a city bred girl — this is full of fun and laughs and wentover very good. 18 min. full stage.

Barbette

Man dressed as a woman — removes wig at the end of the act — performs on the slack wire and also trapeze and rings 8 min. full stage; went good.

“An Artistic Treat”

(6 mins.) A very pretty posing act, employing three persons, a man and two women. Subjects are new and well posed and the act did very well as the closing feature.

Joe Cook

(14 mins.) A very good comedy number and in the next to closing spot he put over a good size applause hit. He got a lot of laughs and finished to a big hand.

Fallon & Brown

(18 mins.) A now “nut” comedy act that was one of the big applause hits of the bill. They have a lot of comedy talk that kept the laughs going and one of the boys put over a solo for very good results. Finished very strong.

“For Pity’s Sake”

(29 mins.) This act played here a long while around was a big laughing hit. It was the same this time, keeping the audience in a roar of laughter from start to finish and closing to a big hand.

Foley & La Ture

(14 mins.) A neat singing and dancing turn by a boy and girl. A fair average of songs, work before a special drop and wear attractive costumes. Did very well.

Joe Laurie, Jr.

(21 mins.) Undoubtedly the most novel monologue act we have ever played and it did splendidly for us in the next to closing spot. It held the audience interested from start to finish and got a lot of laughs. The use of an old couple, introduced as his parents, was something entirely new and the act closed to a big hand.
