Ruby Cavell & Company

“An Up-to-date Oddity.” Two women, twin dancers, and a man violomist [sic]: Russian dancing, toe dancing and also some singing by one of the dancers. Special setting. 10 minutes. Full stage. This act went very poor indeed.

Al Lydell And Bib Higgins

20 minutes in one. Special drop. This is the Lydell, Rogers & Lydell act with a new setting and a new twist. Lydell does his old man character, and Bob Higgins is the foil, as a country barber. Held the spot in good shape and closed well with their eccentric dancing. A first-class comedy act for next-to-closing position.

Henrietta Crosman and Co.

In “Cousin Eleanor.” 21 minutes f.s. Special set. This is an excellent comedy, and Miss Crosman has gathered a good company to support her. The woman who plays the chorus lady is exceptionally clever. Got many laughs and closed strong.

Oklahoma Bob Allbright

In a characteristic Song Cycle. He has a fine tenor voice and put his songs over telling effect. Was accompanied by a lady pianoist [sic]. This act was a complete cleanup. 20 minutes in one.

George Lovett

“The Mental Marvel.” Presents “Concentration.” One man two woman [sic]. Mind reading act. Woman do the mind reading while men collects papers through the audience and hurls questions in rapid order which are answered quickly and in most instances correctly. One woman plays the piano as quick as selections are written. While the other answers the questions. 17 minutes full stage. Went good.

C.J. Tyron

Presents “Hector.” A dog with a human mind. There are four white dogs in this act and Hector is the principal. Special plush setting. 15 minutes full stage. Went good.

Honey Roy Minstrels

17 min. Seven young men in an old-time first part, very nicely dressed. The boys are good singers and get a great deal out of their solo numbers of popular songs, the harmony being especially good. Some comedy is used by the end men and the act made a very good impression in a difficult position, closing the show.

Truly Shattuck & Marta Golden

18 min. They use a medley of songs with a lot of comedy talk injected and got a liberal amount of laughs. Miss Shattuck sings two straight numbers and Miss Golden one comedy number. They finish with a burlesque quarrel in sing which brought them a good hand at the finish.

Marcelle & Bears

12 min. This was formerly known as Howard’s Bears. There are three bears and several dogs and they are put through a routine of familiar tricks. The bears worked well but the dogs appeared cowed which hurt the act a lot. A tableau representing the bear in his wild state used for an opening does not make itself plain and the act only went fair.

Gauthier’s Animated Toy Shop

Intoeuding [sic] four trained ponies and two dogs. The setting of this act was very fine indeed. Three men. 20 minutes full stage. Went big.
