Two men and one woman. Open before plush drop with some wonderful high kicking by the girl. Go to full stage special with some very good hand balancing by men. This is a very good offering which went well.
Man and woman work in one 15 min. Before special drop. Acrobatic daning [sic], singing and custume [sic] changes. Some very good acrobatic dancing. Went well.
“Kings of Harmony.” Four men, dress in Palm Beach suits. Act consists of singing and some comedy. 12 minutes in one; went big all day. Good show all through; everybody seemed pleased, I heard quite a number of remarks on the show which were all very favorable.
Singing, talking and dancing, closing with the lads as a dummy soldier, throwing her all over the stage in all manner of shapes, which went great both matinee and night. 15 minutes; opern [sic] and close in one.
8 min. These boys have a new finish to their set. One of the men doing a headlong dive down a sliding board into a headstand. The rest of there is about the same as they have been doing. Attractive dressing for the summer season helps this act greatly in appearance. They did very well in the clogins spot.
22 min. This is undoubtedly the most diversified ballet offering in vaudeville. Seven numbers are given in four which Mlle. Rasch is the principal dancer. Individual numbers are also introduced by the other members of her company which includes eight coryphées. The act was very well received, both individually and collectively.
21 min. A clever character actor impersonating an English solider, a dope fiend and a grand army veteran. Each of the characters was given excellent treatment blending comedy with sentiment in a capable manner. His old soldier bit has a strong patriotic appeal. At the finish he was given a big round of applause which lasted until he had taken several bows. He has a novelty for a monologist which was readily appreciated.
27 min. Supported by a company of five in “Her Husband’s Wife.” This sketch is a condensation of the comedy in which Miss Crews and Henry Miller starred in the legitimate. It is a clever comedy and splendidly played, with plenty of action and good comedy scenes. It pleased the audience throughout and was rewarded with a liberal hand.
15 min. “At Bug Junction.” Man and woman in comedy talk and songs, finishing with a bit of dancing. The material at the start is poor and they received little recognition until they introduced a song and dance at the finish. Only a fair set.
In “All Wrong” 13 minutes. F.S. Dark interior. A comedy sketch with a bit of dramatics and a surprise finish. They reached Boston Monday night just in time to close the show. A good act, well played, and went over first rate.
