8 minutes f.s. Special set. Man and woman on the Roman rings. Good performers, but the woman tried to sing a ballad Monday afternoon that was the worst thing ever heard on this stage. They have cut it out for the rest of the week.
Lady, girl and boy. 11 min. Full stage, special set. Passably fair, having one dance that manages to hold the attention; the remainder of the turn consists in romping about the stage bedecked with ribbons in much the same manner that one would expect from a bevy of children at play in the nursery.
Vocalist, 14 min. (1) For one who played here a year and a half ago at a salary of 37.50, it seems almost unreasonable that she should return here as a feature at a salary that is little short of fabulous for an act of this kind. Her program is not notable, most of her selections having been heard here time and again. Looks pretty and winsome, charming at all times, and endowed with a personality almost magnetic, she is a most attractive specimen of femininity, but as a feature on our program at 87.50, she is absolutely impossible.
“Electrical Wizard.” 20 min. 5’ plants, full stage. His work has been seen here many times in the past, but owing to his novel and original manner of introducing it, the act leagues in advance of all its predecessors. The comedy occasioned by the utilization of a number of ‘plants’ is hilarious in the extreme, and the act attacks one’s risibilites [sic] in a most vigorous manner.
30 min. In “Peaches.” This is George V. Hobart’s sketch which was a headliner several years ago and is revived this season. There is a clever little story in slang with plenty of action and a little romance to it that makes it a very enjoyable sketch. It was given close attention and was rewarded with liberal applause.
20 min. This is a big flash as a dancing novelty. There are ten in the company, all men, and it is action from start to finish. East does a variety of dances in women’s clothes and his assistants give him a lot of support in various kinds of stepping. A rathakellar orchestra furnishes the music on the stage and there is incidental musical numbers which met with favor. There is a lot of fancy and color to the act and it made a very good impression.
19 min. This young American mimic making her first appearance here in several years scored a big hit with her imitations of stage favorites. Her impressions of Mrs. Carter in a scene from “Zaza” and Nazimova in “War Brides” were particularly good and aroused the audience to a storm of applause. Her act was very well liked all the way through and she finished very strong.
19 min. A high-class musical act, instrumental and vocal, by seven girls in quaint Colonial costumes. Made a hit on the strength of its appeal to the lovers of music. The girls are excellent musicians. Finished to a strong hand of applause.
Works in one 19 min? [sic] Singing popular and rag time melodies using plant in audiennce [sic] that carry the offering ever to a big finish. Miss Fisher has a very pleasing voice and make a fine appearance. Went good.
Acrobatic comedian, 12 min, full stage. Does very little real acrobatic work. Does the old Melrose fall with the tables; the remainder of the act comprising not very brilliant comedy that gets a few scattered laughs.
