Everybody

A very excellent morality playlet presented by a capable cast of 15 people. The act won and held undivided attention from the first. The interest was intense throughout and it gave unqualified satisfaction. About the best sketch we have had this season. Four special scenes, opening in one. 28 minutes.

Musikal Girls

Five former Fadetts, headed by Katelle Churchill, the well-known drummer and pianist, who with violinist, ‘celloist, cornetist and trombonist, rendered a series of high class and popular selection in a manner that stamped the act as a genuine hit. Good applause after each number. Several curtains and bows and extras in one. a big hit. C.D.F. in three, 20 minutes.

James MacDonald

“Songs and Sayings”, principally the former. Has a pleasing way of rendering his songs which met with approval and gave him good, strong finish. Olio in one, 16 minutes.

Ryan-Richfield

Two men and one woman in a comedy skit, “Mag Haggerty, Osteopath”. There is a mere thread of a story which serves acceptable for the delineation of Ryan’s comedy. He made quite a personal success and was capably supported. Pretty good finish, and, an act, all in all, satisfactory. C.D.F. in three. 24 minutes.

McGinnis Brothers

Straight, eccentric and character dancing, all of which is very good. Made a very favorable impression, gaining applause and scoring a strong finish. Street in one. 17 minutes.

Gordon Brothers & Kangaroo

Open with bag-punching, which is fairly good, finishes with comedy bout between men and kangaroo. Made a good opener with a strong finish. Wood in five, 9 minutes.

Hickey’s Comedy Circus

10 minutes full stage, introducing a pair of ponies, revolving table and two trick mules. The mules are the features of the show. It is a tremendous scream and sends the audience away in great shape. The best and most laughable closing act of the season.

Eva Tanguay

25 minutes in One. Advance hand. Among Miss Tanguay’s songs are “The Penny Song”, in which she throws Lincoln pennies to the audience, “The Tanguay Rag”, “Give an Imitation of Me”, “Who’s Loony Now?” and “I Don’t Care”. Miss Tanguay worked hard both matinee and night. She is the same old Tanguay, and took both house by storm, receiving numerous recalls. A tremendous hit.

Sam Chip & Mary Marble

In a Dutch sketch entitled “In Old Eden.” 22 minutes, full stage, own act. This is the same old act. Chip and Marble are both exceedingly clever, and the act went big. One of the hits of the show.

Johnny Ford

Songs and dances, assisted by Roy Barton at the piano. 20 minutes in One. Mr. Ford’s songs are good, and his dancing immense. A big hit.
