This acrobatic act is a very clever one. In fact it is too good to start the show. They introduce many new tricks, several of which are decidedly sensational.
Man and woman in fancy skating number. Very good of its kind. Scored throughout and finished strong. Terrace in five, 13 minutes.
Two men in burlesque singing and talking act called “Caruso and Melba of Vaudeville”. Went big throughout and finished strong. Olio in one, 19 minutes.
Marguerite Haney, Ralph Lynn, two other men and six girls in a musical comedy number. This act is entertaining in spots, particularly in the musical number. The talk does not amount to much. All in all the number held attention moderately well and finished fairly strong. Special in four. 29 minutes.
Man and woman in blackface singing, talking and dancing act. Made very good with songs and dances, but talk could be eliminated to great advantage. Good strong finish. Street in one, 16 minutes.
Well-known marinette [sic] act which held closest attention, proving to be of unusual interest. Strong finish. Special in four. 17 minutes.
Comedy sketch, “The Substitute.” A good laughing number which seemed to please thoroughly. Frequent applause and good strong finish. C.D.F. in three, Olio in one. 28 minutes.
Two men who sing exceptionally well, but whose comedy is rather flat. They would fare much better with little or not talk. Singing end of the act went very big and they finished decidedly strong. Street in one, 15 minutes.
This fellow is a great hand balancer and his work went very big. The dog rendered great assistance. As big a hit as we have bad for an opening act in many a day. Special in three, 10 minutes.
A very clever horse, well trained and pleased very much. 16 minutes. Full stage. Own set.
