Herman and Shirley

The act was eleven minutes long. Herman is a contortionist (formerly of Byers and Herman) and Miss Shirley is his assistant. Herman wears a skeleton costume as he contorts his body.

Tom Grimes and Dunbar Sisters

The act was seventeen minutes long on the full stage. Tom Grimes is a comedian in eccentric makeup who is assisted by a sister act. The man performs a monologue of “ancient jokes.” There is also outdated cross-fire talk with a burlesque melodrama for a finale.

Four Kellys

This tight wire and teeth act was ten minutes long on the full stage. The act revolves around three women and a boy, who do conventional wire work in the style of the Curzon Sisters.”The set is Japanesy, with the wire in the foreground.”

Three Ombros

The act was eleven minutes long. The trio are triple bar gymnasts. They tend to slow down their tricks near the end of their act to build enthusiasm.

Zenita

The act was twelve minutes long. Zenita is a young female violinist who also dances. She plays both classical and “rag” numbers.

Winkler-Kress Trio

The act was ten minutes long on the full stage. The acrobats are comprised of one comedian and two straight men. There is nothing unique in their acrobatics or comedy.

Edith Clifford

The act was ten minutes long. Edith Clifford is a blonde singer with “a pretty dress” from the West. She sings some songs in a “Yiddish” dialect, as well as some in the style of English music.

Mang and Sayder

This hand balancing act was six minutes long on the full stage. One six-foot-tall man stands onstage while balancing the other equally large man with his hands. The act is run through quickly, with no hesitation.

Belasco, Earle and Earle

The act was fifteen minutes long. One man plays the cello, one women sings, and the other plays the piano. The opening is full of classical numbers, but they finish with “rags”.

Mintz and Palmer

The act was fourteen minutes long. This male and female team sings and does “crossfire” talk. They are dressed in good clothes which add an air of class to the performance.
