The sketch revolves around two straight men, one in blackface, and a woman in a restaurant. The waiters are on strike, so one of the men recruits the man in blackface (a barber) to serve him. The comedy evolves into singing a telephone number during which all of the lights are shut off, save for the light emanating from the mouthpieces of the telephone.
Willard Lee Hall is a female impersonator. He is approximately two hundred and twenty pounds and dresses as a woman, complete with wig. He begins the act by sitting in a chair and telling drawn-out stories. His assistant does some good stepping.

The group consists of four men and four women. They open with a Japanese number, then a Mexican song and dance. They finish with a wooden shoe dance. During the dance, three of the group play the piano and one of the girls dances as she plays.

She dresses as a scarecrow and is thrown about by the man; at one point she is even thrown backwards into the orchestra pit. The smaller girl has a pleasing voice and whistles well. The man does some intense Russian legmania.

The sketch stars Cecil Lean and Florence Holbrook as Mr. Henshaw and Miss Farnsworth, respectively. Both are leading players in competing film companies. The setting is a park in full bloom. Each appears with a camera man and begins to pose in the park. Lean does a funny bit about a cowboy committing suicide. Holbrook sings first and gets it over through a catchy chorus. Lean then sings with a good voice. They change costumes several times and appear in evening clothes for a final duet.

Corelli is the straight acrobat. Gillette is an excellent monologist who is also an acrobat. The talk becomes a larger part of the act than the actual acrobatics, but it is full of laughs.
