Rozelda and Zelenzy

The act was thirteen minutes long. One girl sings and the other plays the violin. Sometimes both are done at once. They work in gypsy costumes and the stage is decorated with a small tent.

Mason and Pierce

This male and female team sings. The woman plays the accordion and has a solo. The man wears a white suit and then changes into evening clothes.

Lumbardi Duo

The act was nine minutes long. An Italian man and woman sing opera songs in Italian and English. They do both duets and solos and change once into Toreador costumes.

Sophie Tucker

The act was sixteen minutes long. Sophie Tucker returns to vaudeville after a season in a successful musical comedy. She sings several new songs including “rags” and wears a “gorgeous but unexplainable gown”. She is accompanied by an excellent violinist.

Lillian Wright and Lew Clayton

The act was eleven minutes long. A man and a woman sing and dance dressed in checked suits trimmed with black braid. The man changes into white satin for the finale. “The man does some intricate stepping.”

Carson and Brown

The act was ten minutes long. Carson and Brown are very young step dancers.

Chretienne and Louisette

This novelty impersonation act entitled “From Peasant to Artist” is twenty-eight minutes long on the full stage. Chretienne and Louisette are a Dutch male and female team from Amsterdam. The act begins with a six minute film which depicts the couple performing on the streets of Amsterdam. A manager then offers them a shot at American vaudeville and the rest of the film is their journey across the Atlantic. The two then run down the aisle (in person) and proceed to sing and dance. They begin in authentic Dutch costumes. The man impersonates several foreign conductors while the woman does Spanish, French, and Italian soubret in costume. They then do a wooden shoe dance.

Tom Waters

Tom Waters does a comedic pianolog. He refrained from playing any ragtime numbers and chose instead to play “straight”.
