Jennings and Dorman

The act was fourteen minutes long. Percy O’Malley Jennings is an English comedian with a new partner (Edna Dorman) who acts as his “feeder”. Jennings plays a slow-thinking Londoner who takes a long time to understand jokes. He also sings two songs. Dorman does a topical song for a solo. They sing “We Are Going Back to the City and Dear Old Broadway” and finish with some dancing.

Bessie Clifford

The act was fourteen minutes long. Bessie Clifford is blonde and sings three songs and dances for an encore. During the “I’m A Nut” number, she wears a “Yama” costume with a squared high hat and sings one verse while jumping up and down on a piano. She makes fast changes.

Goldie Boys

The act was nine minutes long. The Goldie boys are a clean cut two man dance team who do a standard routine.

Ada Reeves

The act was twenty-one minutes long. Ada Reeves is an English singer appearing in New York for the first time. She sings five comedy songs in the same gown.

Rachel Lowe

The act was twelve minutes long. Rachel Lowe is an English singer who sang four songs in one dress.

Jack Sheppard

The act was nine minutes long. Jack Sheppard does several Marathonic songs and parodies. He has added a new verse about the present political controversy to one of the songs.

Friendly and Jordan

The act was thirteen minutes long. The duo sings. The girl did a toe dance and the man did well with a “Yiddish” number.

Rich and Lenore

The act was seventeen minutes long. Aubrey Rich and Ten Lenore sing and play the piano. Lenore is the straight and Rich attempts comedy by bouncing on her piano stool. They do duets and Rich does an Italian number that does not land with the crowd.

Frank Sisters

This blackface “sister act” was thirteen minutes long. The Frank Sisters work like the old minstrel duos. The shorter of the two does comedic talk. “A dirty looking dog was used at the close to put over the old joke about the pup being an entomologist.” They sisters also do some singing.

Florence Bowes

The act was ten minutes long. Florence Bowes is a young woman who seems as though she just graduated from the Cabaret school. She wears a white serge Norfolk outfit, a green costume, and a black spangled dress. She sings several songs with a good voice.
