Andy Rice

15 min. in one. This fellow was hit, and no mistake. The Hebrew stuff is all new, and although he works absolutely straight, his impersonations are bully. Was compelled to respond to two encores and closed strong.

Otis Harlan & Co.

“An Accommodating Stranger.” 21 min. F.S., cl. in one. Otis Harlan is the whole thing in the sketch, as his support is not as strong as could be expected from a man of his reputation. Nevertheless, the act, slender as it was in plot, made fairly good. Harlan is very amusing and sings well. His comedy is amusing and the whistling close in one got a very strong hand. At the salary he is getting, however, and having been billed as the headline feature, it does not seem to be all that we or the audience expected.

Mullen & Corelli

11 min. in one. This act is well known. Comedy is good and the acrobatic work is excellent. Held the spot in A 1 shape.

Grigolati’s Flying Ballet

12 min. in F.S. One of the most beautiful act in vaudeville. Second time here and more artistic and interesting than ever. The flight of the doves certainly is a surprise to everybody who has not seen the act before, and the finish is superb. Constant applause throughout and a strong finish.

Long Acre Quartette

12 min. in one. This is a crackerjack quartette. They sing with absolute precision, and their solo work is particularly commendable. Sang some new songs that were corkers. Closed very strong and were completed to give an encore.

Harlan Knight & Co.

“The Chalk Line.” 25 min. F.S. This is the second time for this sketch here. It is much improved. The stage setting is far better and the business is much more clever. Holds the interest of the audience throughout. Closed strong.

Lightning Hopper

11 min. in one. This man is the goods all right in his own caricature way and draws very fast. His line of talk is amusing and his caricatures are familiar. Each one of them gets a good hand. Those of President Taft and Hammerstein were especially fine and got big applause.

Five Musical McLarens

13 min. F.S. Makes a very good opening act. One good vocalist and five good instrumentalists. Play brass instruments and violin and the little girl plays the drums. Altogether the act is satisfactory from a musical standpoint as well as presentation of their act. They are all young and their Scotch costumes make quite a hit.

Chester Johnson

The Dare Devil Cyclist. A good sensational novelty act suitable for any bill. His stunts on a bicycle are great and he had them all talking, will draw some money here. Done 10 minutes full stage and went off with good hand.

Yomiuri Giants

Singing and talking act, has a good line of talk and went big, one extemporaneous song a big hit. Done 17 minutes in one and went off with a big hand.
