While I felt that Miss Williams would have some drawing power, I didn’t expect we were going to get the splendid sketch which she promised, which, in some respects, resembles the Rose Stahl “Chorus Lady” sketch, altho [sic] on an entirely different theme. The play is well-written and excellently acted by Miss Williams and the members of her company. Acts of this kind are of far more value to this house, and I believe to the average vaudeville theatre, than all the George Beban or other serious sketches that were ever written. 20 Min. F.S.
A well-known musical act that scored its usual hit. 16 Min. in One.
Posing, representing the famous Remington Western pictures. A good novelty that scored decidedly. Worth talking about in advance advertising.
In a novelty burlesque drama, satiring the Nick Carter craze. While the individual members of his company aren’t particularly great, the novelty of the act and its funny lines and situations, carried through in good style. Opens and closes in One, about seven minutes at the opening and three minutes at the close. Entire act 28 Min.
Whistler. An attractive young woman who whistles better than the average siffleuse, but none of these acts have any great value, other than one in a while to present something different. I think Miss Greatorex’ salary is most ample for what she delivers. 11 Min. in One.
