Lady Betty

2 men assistants. Time 18. Open in 2, to 1, F.S. and close in 2. Certainly a wonderful animal worhty [sic] of all the praise she has received. Her roller skating, needle threading, and cigarette smoking are little short of miraculous. Her work is quiet and devoid of the noise that characterizes most animal acts.

Raymond and Caverly

In 1. Time 22. The first Dutch act to get a laugh from the critics for a long time. Their new material is really funny and they get away from the old line of work usually offered by this brand of entertainers. 2 men.

La Valera

F.S. Palace. Time 10. A very beautiful young woman whose graceful dancing proved a big hit. She does four distinct Spanish dances. Her costumes are picturesque.

Albert Whelan

C.D.F. Time 28. Very clever entertainer with a style all his own. He works quietly and does a number of things including whistling, singing and “stunts”. The people called him back twice.

Redford & Winchester

2 men. Open F.S. special back drop, close in 1. Time 20. A screamingly funny juggling act in which the comedian is immense. Their straight work is very clever. Kept the audience applauding throughout.

Sacha

Time 10. C.D.F. Woman assistant. Wig and costume impersonations of eight or ten well known men. His work is fast and greatly aided by effective gestures. He went quite as well as Charles Leonard Fletcher did on his recent visit here.

Maude Muller

In 1. Time 12. Very pleasing voice and unusually attractive stage presence. Got by in good shape with considerable applause.

Luce & Luce

Man and woman. Open 4 palace. Close in 1. Time 15. Play organ chimes and other vaudeville instruments. Violin solo very good. Close with a flashy cornet duet in military costumes. Fair.

Ferry

Went big. Contortion act and the best and most elaborately mounted of any ever seen in this city. Ferry’s work great and applauded frequently. Carries three drops and uses special light effects. Costumed in the guise of a frog. Full Stage. Time 12 minutes.

James Corrigan

Went fair. Singer, talker and dancer. Material not of the best yet it gets by. Songs and dancing on par with the talk. Eccentric costume. A red suit, rather the worse for wear. In short the act reminds one of an olio act from the cheaper grade of burlesque show. In one. Time 9.
