Cole & Johnson

YHR 2. Full stage, 21 minutes. Two colored men. Second week. Singers of their own songs. They have changed their selections somewhat this week, giving us a programme fully as good as last week. They went very good.

The Smedley-Arthur Sketch Club

YRR 2. Full stage, 22 minutes. Man, woman and two boys in a sketch entitled “The Little Mother”. A little comedy scattered throughout by the children. A scene from “Romeo & Juliet” by the children brings a little applause. The act is rather tame for a serious affair. Entirely too much money for an act of this nature.

Lillian LeRoy

Open in one, close in one, 12 minutes. This young woman, although unattractive, has a powerful but not musical voice. She opens in one, sings from the rear[?] of two garden cut drops and closes in one. Rather novel and effective. An excellent act and deserving of a better place for the novelty end of it.

Adair & Dahn

GRR 3. Full stage, 12 minutes. Man and woman in a tight wire act. They do some good work, especially the “cake-walk” on the wire. Splendid stage appearance and an excellent act for the three-a-day.

Powers & Freed

NH 3. Full stage, close in 1, 15 minutes. Two young men, one lame, presenting a musical number. They make a good appearance, play fairly well. A good opening act.

Eight Cornallas

Four men, three women, two boys, acrobats. The boys are not over 7 years old. A good act, lively and full of action. 8 mins. Pal. in 5.

Lew Sully

YHR 2. Monologue and songs. Travelling in pretty swift company right int this spot. However, he seemed to get them and got by nicely. Good act. 16 mins. in one.

Five Mowatts

YHR 2. Five boys, club juggling act, and a corking good one. The work received continuous applause. The last “sight” act for an applause getter that we have had here in weeks. 10 mins. Gar. 5.

Chas. F. Semon

GHR 2. Team of Falke & Semon, now working alone. Can open in one. Does about the same work he used to do, and seems to go just as well. A veery good act. Went with continuous laughter this afternoon. 20 mins. C.D.F. in 3. Close in one.

Hallen & Fuller

MRR 2 Geo. Cohan’s sketch “LEciton Bets.” An excellent sketch, containing a variety of ludicrous situations. Went with screams of laughter throughout. Our audience liked it immensely. 19 mins. C.D.F. in 3.
