Lamonts

Two men and a woman in an acrobatic act. The act has greatly improved since they were here before, the addition of another man, who is very good tumbler, adding much to the brightness of the turn. Incidentally they have also introduced a little boy about four years old, who while he does not do much, manages to get a lot of laughs. 10 min, full stage, 2 shows. Could do a very short close in one.

Mooney & Holbein

Man and woman, the woman plays indifferently on several instruments and their singing and comedy is only fair. The man however does some very good eccentric dancing and they manage to leave the stage to strong applause. The act should be rated as very good from a three a day standpoint. 18 min, open in 2, short close in 1. 3 shows.

Clifford and Harvey

Two girls in songs and dances which can only be classed as fair from even a three day standpoint. Their methods are rather coarse, singing poor, and dancing fair. They manage to get by opening the show and that is about all. 10 min in one, 2 shows.

Watson, Hutchings, Edwards & Co.

Two men and a woman in a bunch of nonsense entitled ‘The Vaudeville Exchange.’ The sketch was built solely for laughing purposes, and it fulfilled its mission. It went very strong here. 23 FS.

Eddie Garvie and Mollie Thompson

These people who have recently entered vaudeville after starring in ‘Mr. Jolly of Jolliet’ didn’t have their act whipped into proper shape, but there is no question but that they will make good. 21 min, FS.

Paul Spadoni

Juggler. First appearance in this country. One of the best juggling acts on the stage. Stage personality very attractive. Does his work with unerring deftness and made a great hit. Held the audience to the very finish. Full stage, 21 min.

Rosario Guerrero

‘The Rose and the Dagger,’ this is a pantomimic act, and a very pleasing one. Miss Guerrero is a very handsome woman, a good dresser and dances with exquisite grace. She is ably supported by Dufaure Phillips. It is an act that appeal to the body of the house, and made a decided hit. Full stage, 14 min.

Mary Hampton

‘The Melodrama & Company,’ This is satirical comedy by Edmund day, and good one. Miss Hampton is very good and is ably supported by Whitman and Davis. It is out of the run of ordinary sketches, and seems to take well with audiences. Full stage, 26 min.

Helen Gerard

She has two beautiful horses, which she rides, putting them through some very interesting movements but we are somewhat disappointed and believe that she could do a stronger act. She should use the flower decked cart and dogs. Full stage.

Hayes and Healy

Their new act entitled, ‘The Bell Boy and the Clerk,’ of which there is but little different material used and cannot say that it created any unusual interest. Full stage, closing in one.
